This is our pilot for our GOSPEL APPLICATION SS. SAT July 6, 7pm-9pm @138 Edgewater Dr., Milpitas, CA On SAT, we'll be exploring the theme of rebuke in context of God & Self. It'll also be my 1st time teaching, so please don't hurt me. Passages: Psalm 51, Hebrews 12 Note: Will cut sections from the above passages to dive deeper into. Time: 7PM
Place: Edlene's Home Address: 40765 Vaca Dr, Fremont, CA We will be having LOAH and Chill this Saturday. It's a time where people can come together to continue to strengthen community while being able to discuss relevant topics/questions people may have about faith. The most important thing is that we're chilling and that we're together as LOAH! Please feel free to bring snacks you'd like to share!! Do people around you know that you are a Christian by the way you live your life?
LOAH Bible Study (Sharing the Gosepl) This is study #4 for our series on the GOSPEL. Saturday June 15, 7pm-9pm @92 Bates Ln, Milpitas, CA The question above & the passage below are some bite sized chunks to reflect on before going to Bible study this Saturday! Passage for SAT: (1 Corinthians 9:19-23) 19 Though I am free and belong to no one, I have made myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. 20 To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law. 21 To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God’s law but am under Christ’s law), so as to win those not having the law. 22 To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some. 23 I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings. Why do I still feel so powerless to sin if I'm supposed to have victory over it through Jesus?
LOAH Bible Study: Victory Over Sin (Gospel Series) Saturday June 1st, 7pm at Warrick's place (92 Bates Ln, Milpitas) Here's something to reflect on for Saturday! Passage: Romans 6:1-14 What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his. For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin— because anyone who has died has been set free from sin. Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness. For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace. Takeaway: Through Jesus, we are no longer slaves to sin but alive to God, therefore offer yourself to God, not to sin Time: 7PM Place: Warrick's Home

LOAH Bible Study (Atonement + sacrifice) This is study #2 for our series on the GOSPEL. Saturday May 11 7pm-9pm @ 2272 Skyline Dr, Milpitas, CA 95035 (Darrick's Home) The question above & the passage below are some bite sized chunks to reflect on before going to Bible study this Saturday! Passage for SAT: (Galatians 3:10-14) 10 For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.” 11 Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because “the righteous will live by faith.” 12 The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, it says, “The person who does these things will live by them.” 13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.” 14 He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit. We will be having a night of worship and reflection in a few weeks. The theme for the night will be Attributes of God, and I hope that we can reflect on who God is proclaimed to be and who He is in our lives as we strive to see Jesus daily.
Place: Edlene's Home Address: 40765 Vaca Dr, Fremont, CA Time: 7PM Schedule: 7pm-7:45pm - Praise 7:45pm-8:30pm - Small group reflection/sharing 8:30pm-9pm - Praise Here, with tongue & mind, we gather to share in praising God for who he is. I pray we can worship Him with all our soul as we sing his praises & share the great work God has done in each of our lives. What is the most common way you compare yourself with others?
LOAH Bible Study (Sin nature + humankind's depravity) This is the pilot for our series on the GOSPEL. 7pm-9pm @138 Edgewater Dr., Milpitas, CA, 95035-4430 The question above & the passage below are some bite sized chunks to reflect on before going to Bible study this Saturday! Passage for SAT: (Romans 3:9-20) Be prepared and already have a few people in mind that you want to verbally affirm! We will be limiting it during the time to 3 people verbally affirming each individual. Don't worry, we will have pens and note cards for those that want to share some words with people that you didn't get a chance to do.
